“ Road trips are fun thanks to Four Sea! On our way to LA and made a pit stop for some breakfast. Love that they open so early and I was beyond impressed with what I got. Not sure if we just came at the right time or this is the standard, but my daikon cake was cooked to PERFECTION. Their garlic soy sauce dip pairs so nicely with the daikon cake (it's slightly sweet too). Then I saw the options of customizing my soy milk ie. hot vs cold vs WARM and also savory vs sweet. I wanted that perfect not too hot not too cold temperature and they literally mastered it. It was the right amount of hot where I can sip it right away without burning my tongue but not luke warm level. This breakfast totally set me up for a perfect day cause I was in such a great mood! ”

“ This place can be hit or miss. Lately it has improved with food being fresher, hotter, and less oily so you don't end up with a coma after. They made an error with our pickled vegetable vegetarian rice roll, but re-made it and I was pleasantly surprised. Pro-tip: For the month of March, they have a QR code that saves you 10% when you order online, but it's for takeout orders. They should make that clear on the sign so there's no confusion as they will let you know if you eat takeout at the tables, lol ”

“ This review is solely for the hot soy milk. I was in Taiwan in November and discovered the amazingness that is breakfast soy milk. A Taiwanese neighbor mentioned Four Sea was the best in Irvine for this and I have to agree. Extremely similar to the many good soy milks I had in Taiwan. Service was quick and nice. Will definitely go back when I have a craving! ”

“ Great service. I come here quite often for their delicious hot breakfast. Their fried crueller and soy milk are made fresh daily. I often get their black sesame and taro past buns. Large indoor dining area as well. Very clean restaurant and also the restrooms. ”

“ Four Seas Restaurant is a very successful Taiwanese breakfast chain. I always love my Taiwanese breakfasts, especially salty rice rolls (fan tuan) and salty soy milk (xian dou jiang), so I'm always on the lookout for great spots for these two dishes. I've been to Four Sea Restaurant several times, and it's always satisfied an itch but never mind blowing. It's an extremely solid spot for Taiwanese breakfast, but it is so pricey now that I cannot recommend it without a slight hesitation. Overall, very solid spot for Taiwanese breakfast and would definitely recommend to satisfy an itch. ”
